About the Department
The Department of Chemistry, one of the largest in the College, obtained Honours affiliation in 1952 and started its Morning Section in 1967. In 2006 it obtained the affiliation for opening Post Graduate Course with an intake capacity of 25 students per year. The Department is renowned for the quality of its students and faculty. It has long been devoted to providing quality education and of late it has proliferated into frontier Research as well.
